Sweater Weather + A Trip Home

Update

Hello! It’s been a minute. Life is just not slowing down lately, but I do have some fun plans up my sleeve for the near future with both this blog and my photo business! Bear with me 🙂

Since my purposes, and just life in general, have changed so much since this blog was created, I’ve started working on some new projects. My goal is to have everything set and ready by the new year! (I’m thinking if I put my goal in writing, maybe I’ll have some accountability to make. it. happen.)

More info on this soon!

Sweater Weather

Last weekend, Brady and I took a trip back home for a short break! Since the drive is 6 hours both ways, the visit was quick, but super worth it.

Fall in the Upper Peninsula is honestly unbeatable! I tried snapping some photos of the view, but I really couldn’t do it justice.

On Saturday, we had a super relaxing day of just hanging out. We went to the Corn Maze and spent some time outside. We snapped a few photos, and I thought I would share! It was actually a bit chilly when we were up, which made my soul so happy.

This sweater is PERFECT for the fall weather. All shades of blush and pink and mauve are my favorite right now, and this sweater just feeds my addiction. I actually got it from PinkBlush – how fitting! It’s super soft and has lots of cute little details – you can wear the criss-cross detail in either the front or back, which makes it pretty versatile! I paired it with some boyfriend jeans from American Eagle, and black booties from ThredUP. You can find similar here, or other boots from the brand Wanted here. They’re super comfy – it was my first time wearing them and my feet didn’t hurt at all!

Also, I have the best discount for ThredUP. If you use the code “GEMMA!”, you get 50% off your first order (!!!). I heard about this website online, and I fell in love. They’re sustainable, super reasonably priced, and their customer service is seriously amazing. Not sponsored- I just really like them!

P.S. Kicking myself for not taking my phone out of my pocket…
